Liskow is a prominent full-service law firm headquartered in New Orleans, with additional offices in Baton Rouge, Houston, Lafayette, and most recently, New York City. Their dedicated teams offer a comprehensive range of legal services, with a notable focus in the energy sector. Committed to leading their clients through changes in their industries, Liskow engaged GOAT to help lead the evolution of their own upper floor spaces at the Hancock Whitney Center.

The law firm expressed a desire for a more contemporary space worthy of their most renowned clients, as well as a dedicated attorney’s lounge for their own employees to utilize. With over 70,000 SF of floor space to cover and a tight pre-holiday deadline, GOAT set out to complete a challenging task - searching for and selecting updated finishes that would not only please the client, but that would work in harmony with the wide-ranging multitude of pre-existing finishes as well.

The law firm’s high ceilings and natural light permitted GOAT to take a minimalistic approach to their final selections, while still ensuring a brighter and more modern finished space for Liskow to welcome their own clients into. By using contrasting carpets and a uniform paint color throughout, GOAT was able to distinguish between conference rooms, work rooms, and corridors - keeping the design consistent without clashing with any of the existing finishes to remain. These same finishes were able to be implemented in the completely new attorney lounge to allow for an area that both stood out and felt like a thoughtfully coordinated extension of an already existing space.
