GOAT Principals Featured on American Architecture Podcast

Each year, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) national chapter hosts a Conference on Architecture & Design. This year, GOAT’s Principals Colin VanWingen and Peter Spera III were in attendance at the 2024 event, which took place in Washington, D.C. in June.

The conference offers an opportunity for architecture and design firms, as well as manufacturers, to network, share knowledge, gain exposure, and find solutions to today’s most pressing issues. In D.C., Colin and Peter connected with the team at American Architecture, a platform focused on fostering growth through collaboration and conversation in the architecture industry.

From this initial introduction at AIA’s conference, Colin and Peter were invited to tell the story of GOAT on the American Architecture podcast. Listen now to hear about their career kickoffs, the inception of the firm, and all that has transpired since launching GOAT in 2016.

Podcast host Amreeta Syam introduces the episode: “Discover how their identity as polymaths shapes their studio culture and get insights into their physical office space. Understand the influence of New Orleans on their leadership style and the benefits of their partnership during tough times.”
